The Pink Cross Foundation Australia Inc. is in a season of post-Pandemic change.

Our charity offers compassionate support to people experiencing commercial sexual exploitation through:

  • Fostering social connections
  • Promoting healing and restoration
  • Empowering people to achieve their goals through counseling

Established in 2013, we operate with frugal means on a 10-20K per year income. With you, we believe that we can make an even greater difference!

To make a tangible impact, would you please consider joining our management team?

Your background in the field of mental health care or business can change the charitable landscape of this country and the world.

We hope to plan and provide more professional therapy services to those affected by s*xual exploitation, whilst maintaining our Charitable status with the ACNC.

To lessen the Pink Cross CEO’s ever-expanding, time-sensitive duties and role, you are a person who can help lead the organisation with her to become the place for best-practice prevention, outreach and treatment for all forms of harm from exploitation, including human sexual trafficking – what is known today as Modern Day Slavery.

You may be feeling highly concerned for those who have experienced childhood trauma and hardship (you may be a survivor yourself!), and believe that recovery is possible for all.

You excel in and are passionate about your field of counseling, psychology, psychotherapy, social work and/or business, communications, and marketing.

You may be interested to help us design best-practice healthcare programs, adapted to those with trauma and addiction.

You understand that funding is necessary to grow every program. You may become instrumental in sourcing Grants and drafting them for us.

Your network of contacts may be wide, and you may want to seek out more donors who can see the social benefits and the huge social returns in participating in the betterment of our niche community group.

You may want to have a go at writing business plans and strategies with us, as well as simple budget forecasts.

At Pink Cross, we do lobby whenever asked the need arises. We may be asked to meet MP’s, Government, and the public, and are strong advocates for change in this sector.

We believe that women commodifying their bodies —willingly or not —would benefit from more support. Men reach out to us to stop their p+rn use and we hope to provide professional therapy and services in the near future. We, with you, will rewrite our Mission and Vision.

We are in a season of much-needed change!

‘S*x work’ is normalised in most of Australia and we want you to be on par with our vision that mental health care is crucial in the adult entertainment industry, even for those exited.

You may also, if you have the skills, help create our data collection from previous years, set up plans and get them happening – with our current limited resources – and take on Governance tasks as needed from this very active Board Committee role.

The first meeting held in June 2023!

Are you ready to commit for two years to the Pink Cross Management Team?

We need your expertise!

This is a very sensitive industry where knowledge of what is truly hiding behind the behaviour of a street-based prostituted person, or the intrinsic urges of the p+rn addict/consumer is dissected. We base our work towards an impact that is evidence-based, grounded in sound research on the harms of non-consensual s*x, and other forms of abuses.

Male demand is at the core of this industry, and we believe that buyers suffer in this, too. We need your help to grow our emerging clinic, and our recovery programs for both parties. Every life counts!

Purchasing ‘sexual services’ between two consenting adults may be ‘legal’, but it has health consequences for both parties involved. You may understand the desperation behind the glamour. Know the pain, grow the gain for every survivor supported.

You have compassion for those who have experienced childhood trauma and hardship and believe that recovery is possible for all. You may be able to help us design healthcare programs adapted to those with trauma and addiction, and you may excel in your field of counseling, psychology, psychotherapy, and therapeutic interventions, or business, communications, and marketing.

You may be fascinated by the new developments in the study of the brain in neuroscience and psychology which can help us become the research center we ought to be.

Steps:

I, on behalf of the Team at Pink Cross, am eagerly awaiting to read your application.
